The Anáhuac Cancún University is an institution of higher education that, as a community of professors and students, seeks truth and goodness in everything, and is committed to the comprehensive formation of people who exercise their leadership and thus contribute to the Christian transformation of society and culture.
The Anáhuac University Network is the group of higher education institutions that share an identity and an educational model of their own and collaborate closely in multiple fields to ensure the fulfillment of the mission: to promote consolidation, optimize operation, and enhance the growth of its members, as well as to promote its expansion and alliance with other institutions.
“Anáhuac” literally means: “near the water.” Region of the central lakes that gave seat to the Aztec capital: Tenochtitlán, the most populated center with the greatest cultural development in Central America, where Mexico City now stands.
Our emblem, inspired by the image of a fabric in process, symbolically reflects the work of interaction and development that characterizes education: our fundamental task and commitment.
Our motto “Vince in bono malum”, which means “Overcome evil with good”, was taken from St. Paul’s letter to the Romans (12-21) and represents the synthesis of our educational philosophy.
