The Manantial Educational Center views the student as a valuable, unique, and unrepeatable being, endowed with capacities that enable them to be a competent being, a creator of their own knowledge, with critical thinking and research skills.
Considering the greatness that has been deposited in the human being, we know that children are individuals worthy of being treated with respect, care, and love, because the human being, even when educated throughout life, experiences the most influential experiences and learning in the behavior and personality of each adult in childhood, hence the motto of the Manantial Educational Center is “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”
Being a space for comprehensive education, the curriculum has been developed taking into account the pedagogical approach by competencies, which implies a vision of a dynamic, reflective, and critical student, not a receiver of knowledge, but an active generator of it. Educating, rather than transmitting information, implies facilitating the development of skills, abilities, attitudes, and capacities that allow the student to appropriate knowledge and, in turn, apply it in their daily experiences; this is to acquire meaningful learning.
